Lavender Season 2018
Come to your senses this summer! See the purple blooms, smell the perfumed flowers, feel the breeze on the hillside field, hear the country quiet and taste the lavender lemonade. We have something wonderful for all your senses! Pick your own lavender flowers, a variety of other perennial flowers to add to your bouquet and find a large variety of culinary herbs in our expansive herb beds. Take the perfect photo in the white gazebo in the heart of the field. Make sweet memories at Seven Oaks Lavender Farm, located less than an hour west from Washington, D.C.

Our first annual lavender festival!
Saturday, June 30th and Sunday July 1st (Rain or Shine):
Two session each day: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
$25 per car ON SALE now for $20 per car.
LAVENDER FESTIVAL #1 Join us in the heart of the beautiful and historic Piedmont countryside of Virginia! Two days of peace, love and aromatherapy at the popular and well-loved destination farm, Seven Oaks Lavender Farm, which is celebrating it's fifteenth birthday this year!
When? What Times?
Summer Bloom Fest will run for two days during our peak season from June 30 to July 1, 2018, rain or shine. Accommodating morning people and not-so-morning people with two time slots a day, each providing four hours of lavender fun. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. You may arrive anytime in your time slot but for the morning slot you must depart by 1 p.m.
*There will be dedicated field parking spaces and limited tickets available, tickets will be sold per car. You can put as many lavender/fun lovers in your vehicle as you like. Tickets which will be $25 per car are onsale now for $20 a car. At our website pay through Paypal or the website payment system.
Foodie food trucks, lavender crafts, product tents, live demonstrations, pick your own lavender and herbs, music and more!
Our festival is going to be a heightened experience of all of your in-season favorites plus more. Choose from staples like our lavender lemonade, lavender mint iced tea and lavender lemon cupcakes, or grab a bite from popular local food trucks! Festival goers can pick their own lavender (15 cents a stem), cut fresh herbs, and visit the farm shop, home to hundreds of our lavender products. Mellow tunes from a professional DJ will waft through the air with the scent of lavender. Get crafty: make lavender sachets, wreaths and wands and even get a lavender tattoo!
The farm is kid-friendly! The playhouse and baby bunny looking zoo will be open for kids...along with face painting available.
While we have limited seating, many of our regular visitors bring blankets and set up picnics under our shade trees. Corn hole boards will be available for play and we have ample photo opportunities among our blooms!
As you walk around the festival, be sure to look for the crafting tents, candle making and sewing demonstrations,handmade jewelry tent, and more! More specific information will be added over next month.
Although we are not serving alcohol or our own meals per se, there will be plenty of fun non-alcoholic drinks and yummy food trucks. You are invited to bring your own picnic and byob too, we just ask you to take your packaging and leftovers with you when you depart. Also, right down the road is the newish Powers Farm Brewery www.powersfarmbrewery.com which will be offering $1 off their special LAVENDER BEER to our festival goers. Drop by and give them a visit before or after your session to take advantage of the discount and try their other delicious brews!

Summer will be here before we know it. Make your plans now. Many of our farm friends have asked about a festival. Well, here it is with all the bells and whistles. This is going to be fun!
End of Season Deal
From Monday, July 2nd through Sunday, July 8th the farm will be open entrance-free. We are waiving the fee this week as the field is not at it's height of blooming. But that said, there is always still plenty of lavender to pick and fun to be had.
