We are a small, family run farm business.  Mother and daughters, Edith and Deborah and Dianne, co-own the farm and employ family members, interns, and neighbors to staff the farm business.  Below you will find links to videos of our farm.  We began about eight years ago with about one hundred plants and now have over an acre in lavender and other flowers.  Our farm is set in beautiful, bucolic, Fauquier County which has the advantage of being less than an hour west of Washington D.C.  We enjoy sharing the beauty of our countryside and our perfumed lavender field with our relaxed and happy guests.

Our next pick-your-own season begins in summer 2012 and runs from early June through early July.  We will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m and will host Saturday and Sunday events and classes.   School and group tours are welcome and we encourage our guests to bring a picnic lunch and stay awhile!  We highly recommend Poplar Springs Inn, which is only 10 minutes away and a wonderful place to overnight or to have an amazing meal capped by a delicious lavender dessert in season.

In our "It Takes a Village" store you will find we have a tremendous variety of top quality lavender products, most of which are made here at the farm by our busy little hands.  Some of our products:  soap, jelly and some hand sewn products such as hair scrunchies, dog scarves, and upcoming purses are made with our lavender by a crafty neighbor.  We are proud to share our growing success with our community in a variety of ways.  In season we also  provide employment to Fauquier Bridges, a group that sources employment for disabled adults.

We have been featured in:  PBS Television, Virginia Living Magazine, Buy Fresh, Buy Local, Virginia Farm Bureau News, Fox 5 News, The Washington Post, The Fauquier Times-Democrat, Bull Run Observer, The Free Lance-Star and The Piedmont Virginian
