It's almost time to stop and smell the flowers...
Luckily they are close to home. You can indulge yourself while feeling supportive of the new movement of buy fresh, buy local.
Mother and daughter, Edith and Deborah Williamson, are proprietors of Seven Oaks Lavender Farm and have been raising lavender for six years. We are located in the town of Catlett in beautiful Fauquier County in Northern Virginia (about 55 min west of Washington, D.C.). Learn more about the farm by choosing from the menu on the left or print out our full-color brochure for the 2008 season. (Please note there is a change to the brochure in the dates we are open. Due to popular demand we are now open seven days a week from June 7th through July 6th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
The farm has a historic home builit in 1860 and is situated on acres of beautiful countryside surrounded by large ancient oak trees. Seven Oaks farmhouse pre-dates the Civil War and sits on the edge of the official battlefiedl of the Battle of Auburn I and II and will soon be part of a local historic district. Catlett Station, another important event in the Civil War is just a couple miles away. A gray Cape Cod on the hilltop, adjaview.cent to the historic home, offers a shaded porch to sit and dream with a lavender view.
